5 Car Care Hacks You Need to Know
1.) Is your food getting cold on the drive home?
A lot of newer cars have seat warmers installed in the chairs. Use your seat warmer to keep your food nice and toasty on the drive from the store to the house.

2.) Are your windows and interior filthy? Clean your car with coffee filters.
Coffee filters are great for cleaning. They do not leave fluff balls or lint like hand or paper towels do. Use the coffee filters to clean your windows with your preferred cleaning solution. If your issue is with your interior, use a bit of oil on a coffee filter to wipe down surfaces. This will not only remove bits of dirt but will also condition the plastic or leather.
3.) No phone holder in your car? No problem.
Thread a rubber band through your AC vent to create a makeshift phone holder. You’ll easily be able to see the displayed information and can keep both hands on the wheel.
4.) Use toothpaste to shine dim headlights.
This one is actually pretty remarkable, and you will be able to see the difference straight away. Buff your headlights with a soft rag and your favorite toothpaste, and watch the dirt and grime vanish. It will look brand new in just a few minutes.
5.) Does your car door lock get frozen and stuck?
This is an easy fix. More often than not, the issue has nothing to do with the lock itself, and more to do with the fact that the lock has seized. When this happens, try coating your key and the lock itself in hand sanitizer. The alcohol in the hand sanitizer will melt the ice and allow you to open the door.
